About Us

Dear Teams, Players, Partner, and Members of the Red Rose Community,

For more than three decades, Red Rose Arena's owners and management team have proudly operated the arena, continuing a Lancaster tradition that began when the facility first opened in 1993. Under their leadership, Red Rose became much more than an indoor sports facility. It became a gathering place where generations of athletes, families, coaches and friends could compete, grow, stay active and share their love of the game.

During the past 12 months, circumstances beyond the arena's control created an unexpected challenge. Following a change in ownership of the building at 3549 Hempland Road, Red Rose Arena no longer had access to the facility. As a result, operations at that location came to an abrupt conclusion. Our team has since vacated the building and securely relocated the arena's equipment, assets, and field components.

Although this chapter has closed, the Red Rose story is far from over. As part of our partner's commitment to honoring the tradition of our historic facility, we are calling this next chapter "Red Rose 2.0." While the location will be new, our partner is committed to preserving the name, spirit and community-centered mission. The facility will continue to be called Red Rose Arena in honor of its history.

Our commitment is clear: to preserve the Red Rose tradition while creating an exciting future for indoor sports in Lancaster. Accessible place where youth and adults can play indoor soccer and other sports throughout the year are important to all of us. They support athletic development, healthy lifestyles, lasting friendships, and a stronger community.

We understand that teams, renters and league participants need to plan their upcoming schedules and budgets. Although we cannot yet provide a reopening date, we are working diligently to identify the right location for Red Rose 2.0. We will share additional information as soon as our plans become more concreate.
