Casey Powell to put on lacrosse clinic at the Red Rose Indoor Arena

Lancaster, PA -- Angelo's Lacrosse Corner and Brine Lacrosse are proud to announce a free lacrosse clinic by Casey Powell at the Red Rose Indoor Arena in November.

The Carthage, New York native currently plays with the Rochester Rattlers of Major League Lacrosse. Powell, second on the Rattlers with 57 points (32+1+24) in 12 games, extended his franchise record assist streak to 19 games (7/06/03 to 8/14/04). He is Major League Lacrosse’s all-time assist leader (108) and is second in league history with 248 points. In addition, Powell ranks first in playoff assists with nine and is second on the Rattlers all-time goal (70), assist (56) and point (127) lists.

In college, Powell was one of Syracuse's best players of all-time. He was a four-time All-American and the Division I Attackman of the Year in 1998. In addition, Powell was the Division I Most Outstanding Player in 1997 and 1998. He was named to the NCAA Division I All-Tournament Team from 1995-98 and is tied for second all-time in points at SU with his brother Ryan. Powell amassed 287 points (158+129) for the Orangemen over four seasons (1994-98) and in 1998, played on the World Champion Team USA squad. Powell was also named to Lacrosse Magazine’s All-Century Team.

Powell’s newest venture in the world of lacrosse is with the expansion Portland Lumberjax of the National Lacrosse League.

This free clinic will be held on November 14 from 6-9 pm at the Red Rose Indoor Arena and will be for all players and coaches.
